Text1. Introduction
HavenPing is a family check-in service operated by 18172960 Canada Inc. It is designed to help connected
family members share check-in information and view family check-in activity. This Privacy Policy explains
the personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to users.
HavenPing is not an emergency response service and is not a replacement for police, ambulance, fire, 911,
or other local emergency services.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, HavenPing may collect information such as:
• Parent or guardian name and email address.
• Child or family-member name and, where required by the app, email address.
• Account role, Family ID, and information used to connect members of a family group.
• Check-in information, including status, date/time, check-in history, and an emergency check-in indicator.
• Subscription or plan information, such as Free or Premium, when paid subscriptions are offered.
• Support or other communications you choose to send to us.
• Reminder preferences if and when the Daily Reminders feature is made available.
We may also receive technical information from the platforms and service providers used to operate
HavenPing. Before public launch, this policy should be updated to identify any additional analytics,
payment, authentication, hosting, or similar services actually enabled
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to operate and improve HavenPing, including to:
• Create and manage family accounts and connect authorized family members.
• Record and display check-ins and check-in history to connected family members.
• Record an emergency check-in so connected family members can see that attention may be needed.
• Provide, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service.
• Respond to support, privacy, business, or legal inquiries.
• Manage subscriptions and paid features when HavenPing Premium is available.
• Store and use reminder preferences if and when Daily Reminders becomes available.
4. Children and Family Accounts
HavenPing is intended for family use. Parent or guardian accounts are intended for adults. Children should
use HavenPing only with the knowledge, authorization, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Parents or guardians are responsible for managing their family group and the information they provide
about children or other family members.
Because privacy rules concerning children can vary by location, we may update our account, consent, and
age-verification practices before offering HavenPing in additional jurisdictions.
5. Emergency Check-In
HavenPing may allow a user to record an emergency check-in or emergency status. This feature is
intended only as a family communication/check-in feature. It does not guarantee that another person will
see or respond to a check-in, and it must not be relied upon for emergency response. In an emergency,
contact the appropriate local emergency service immediately.
6. Sharing Information
We may share information:
• With authorized members of the same connected family group, as necessary for HavenPing's family
check-in functions.
• With service providers that process information on our behalf and are needed to operate the service.
• When required or permitted by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• In connection with a corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.
We do not rent personal information.
7. Service Providers and International Processing
HavenPing may rely on third-party technology providers for functions such as app hosting, authentication,
communications, analytics, or payment processing. These providers may process information in Canada or
other countries. The specific providers and processing locations should be updated in this policy as the
production technology stack is finalized.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide HavenPing, maintain
legitimate business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Users
may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Some information may
need to be retained where required or permitted by law.
If self-service account deletion is not available in the app, a deletion request may be submitted to the
contact address below.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal
information. No online service, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely
secure.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law and the functionality available in HavenPing, you may be able to update account
information, manage family members, change plan settings, or request access, correction, or deletion of
personal information. You may also contact us with a privacy question or complaint.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as HavenPing develops, legal requirements change, or new features
and service providers are introduced. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where
required.

1. Welcome and Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the HavenPing application, website, and related
services operated by 18172960 Canada Inc. By creating an account or using HavenPing, you agree to
these Terms and the HavenPing Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and Family Use
A parent or guardian account is intended for a person who is at least 18 years old. Children should use
HavenPing only with the knowledge, authorization, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You agree
to provide accurate information and to keep account access reasonably secure.
3. Family Accounts
HavenPing allows parents or guardians to create and manage family groups and connect family members.
The parent or guardian is responsible for managing the family group, authorizing child access, and ensuring
that information entered about family members is appropriate and lawful.
4. Check-Ins and Emergency Check-In
HavenPing provides family check-in features that can record statuses such as arriving home, arriving at
school, being on the way, or an emergency check-in. An emergency check-in is a family communication
feature only. HavenPing does not guarantee that another person will see or respond to a check-in.
HavenPing is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for police, ambulance, fire, 911, or
other local emergency services. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service
immediately.
5. Daily Reminders - Coming Soon
HavenPing may introduce Daily Reminders that allow users to set check-in reminder preferences by day
and time. Unless the feature is expressly shown as available in the app, it should be treated as a planned or
coming-soon feature and not as a guaranteed current service.
6. HavenPing Premium
HavenPing may offer a paid plan called HavenPing Premium. Features, pricing, billing frequency, currency,
free trials, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be displayed before purchase. Planned Premium
features may include additional child profiles, expanded check-in history, more family activity options,
priority support, and future reminder functionality.
A feature described as 'Coming Soon' is not included as a currently available paid feature until HavenPing
expressly makes it available. Subscriptions purchased through an app store or other platform may also bsubject to that platform's billing and cancellation rules.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use HavenPing for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to access another person's account or family group without authorization.
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the service except where applicable law
expressly permits it.
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content that violates another person's rights.
• Use HavenPing in a way that could endanger another person or misrepresent the service as an
emergency-response system.
8. Intellectual Property
HavenPing is a registered business name of 18172960 Canada Inc. Except where otherwise stated, the
HavenPing software, website content, branding, designs, text, and other materials are owned by or licensed
to 18172960 Canada Inc. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to users.
9. Third-Party Services
HavenPing may depend on third-party platforms or service providers. Their services may be governed by
separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable
control.
10. Availability and Changes
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as HavenPing develops. We do not guarantee that
the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device, network, operating system,
or location.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HavenPing is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.
18172960 Canada Inc. does not guarantee uninterrupted service, immediate delivery or viewing of
check-ins, or the performance of a user's device, internet connection, app store, or third-party service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any additional
limitation-of-liability language should be reviewed for the jurisdictions where HavenPing is offered before
public launch.
12. Termination
You may stop using HavenPing at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably
necessary to protect users or the service, address misuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. Where
appropriate, we will provide notice.
13. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the HavenPing Privacy Policy. The Privacy
Policy forms an important part of your relationship with HavenPing.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as HavenPing develops or legal requirements change. We will update the
effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after an update may constitute
acceptance where permitted by law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to 18172960 Canada Inc. in Ontario,
Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or other rights that apply in a user's jurisdiction.
Before international launch, this section should be reviewed for the countries or regions in which HavenPing
is offered.
